Happy belated Anniversary…

It has been a year and a few days since I began traversing the blog land.  I would like to take the moment to thank you all for hanging in with me and encouraging me along.  It is really something to reach out to strangers and come back with new friends and a better person for it.  For you kindness and generosity AND to celebrate my blog-a-versary :::::drum roll::::: A GIVEAWAY!

Simply leave a comment telling me your favorite thing about fall, your idea for the yarn and give a thanks to my favorite local shop in Troy, Ohio : Lion & Lamb Yarn Boutique.  The ladies at this shop really had a huge hand in making this giveaway happen.  They pulled the yarn for me over the phone, took pics AND emailed them to me so I could post this before I could make it to the shop to grab the yarn.  They are really awesome at the Lion & Lamb Yarn Boutique.  So, if you are in the area, you have got to check out their shop!  I will be drawing October the 5th using a random number generator.

Looking forward to seeing the comments and making someone very happy!

How lovely! Happy birthday blog, 🙂

So many things to love about Fall. The cooler temps, the color changes, and especially the Fall foods (anything pumpkin).

Thank you for the lovely giveaway.

Congratulations on the blog-o-versary! How kind of you to do the giveaway! The yarn is yummy. My favorite thing about the fall is the colors and the official opening season for knitting! I can imagine this delicious yarn as a cozy cowl.

Over here in the UK, fall is autumn, and my favourite thing is the glorious colours of the trees as their leaves turn gold & russet. Plus in the autumn you can comfortably start knitting in wool again without having to hold it away from you! 🙂

Hi Sheri…Bethielouwho here. I am part of the Urbana Fiber Artists group and also attend the sit-n-knit at Panera in Springfield on Wednesday nights. I have met you several times, the first time I think was during last year’s 75 yarn crawl at Knit Wits yarn shop in Kentucky. You enabled me to buy a skein of mink yarn!

My favorite things about fall are pumpkins, Halloween, and the beautiful foliage. Cool crisp mornings and less humidity are up there too!

Please enter me in your give-a-way. I love Madelinetosh with a passion, and that color definitely sings autumn to me.

Hope to see you at Panera soon…..bethielouwho

Happy Blogaversary! I love fall, I love walking in the crisp air and watching the leaves change and fall, it’s beautiful!

The colors are definitely my favorite part of fall altho that means that winter is coming…that is my least favorite part.

    Best wishes on your year!
In the fall, I love fresh pressed apple juice. I think this yarn would make a lovely cowl to wear on a crisp fall day of apple picking!

Happy blogoversary! I’m still waiting for true fall here, and I’m eagerly awaiting my favorite thing about it – the cooler weather! I love how crisp and cool the air gets as summer dies down.

I would use the yarn to knit a scarf for one of my oldest friends. I promised him a scarf years ago, and haven’t been able to find quite the right fall-colored yarn for it yet.

Also, I just wanted to let you know, the link for Lion and Lamb Boutique seems not to be working.

Thanks for the heads up! I have no idea how that link even came about… o.O Any who, it is fixed for now. I linked to their web address where people can get a hyperlink to their Facebook. Hugs, Sheri

What a lovely giveaway – thank you to you and your LYS!

My favourite thing about fall, or Autumn as we call it in the UK, is how the leaves match my hair colour 🙂

Happy Blog-a-versary! What I love about fall? The amazing colors. Yellow turning red and then mahogany…and all the Madelinetosh colors related! Lovely yarn, by the way, and I see it as a gorgeous hat!

My favorite thing about fall is the changing of the leaves to amazing colors. For the yarn: my friend designed a cabled cowl that would be perfect knitted with it. Thank you to Lion & Lamb Yarn Boutique in Troy, Ohio.

I just love the weather finally turning cool so that I can actually stand to spend some time outside. I live in Montgomery, Alabama and the summers are too long, too hot, and too humid. I’d love to retire further North. I’m jamiewalcott on ravelry.

I love the colors of fall! For example, the color of the yarn in your giveaway is perfect….it is a perfect fall color!!

Congratulations on one year of blogging and here is to many more. My favorite thing about fall is the weather – the brisk air, the changing leaves, the chill in the air. I love it all. I’d live in fall all year long if I could. That yarn would make a beautiful autumn-themed shawlette or maybe some of the little pumpkin socks everyone is knitting. I’d almost like to mix it with a neutral to make a striped shawl for autumn walks. Thank you!
